Miss Universe 2026

Puerto Rico hosts Miss Universe for the fourth time, after Dorado in 1972, Bayamón in 2001 and San Juan in 2002.

The Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot, in San Juan, is the largest arena on the island.

The final narrows the field through successive rounds. In 2025 those rounds were a Top 30, then a Top 12, then a Top 5, before the winner was named.

The format changes almost every year, and the 2026 format will be confirmed by the international organisation. We will publish it here when it is, rather than carrying last year’s forward as though it were settled.

France’s representative for 2026 has not yet been selected. She will be chosen through the new French selection, and the announcement will be made here.

The most recent French delegate, Ève Gilles, placed in the Top 30 at Miss Universe 2025.

Broadcast arrangements have not been announced. The broadcaster and the start time will be published here as soon as they are confirmed.
